Guess what. I’m taking a vacation from blogging again. I’m not sure how long it will last. All I know is that I don’t seem to have anything to write about, and I lack the energy to convert the diary entries I’m planning to use in the next volume of my Of Manywhere-at-Once into anything even semi-readable. So, see you later.
And here I learn that you’re taking a vacation from blogging on the same day I discovered Poeticks. Ah well, I expect something will spur your creative and lively mind to post again before long.
Came across your site after googling praecisio to see if I was trackable through it (the term has long been my user name). Very much appreciated your Thoughts on Haiku post (from November 9th) and the one discussing personal literary evidence for Shakespeare.
Had a poetry site on Stumbleupon (and it may still exist) but let it go dormant after one too many format changes was imposed (gu1tar was my handle there; I would have posted some of your work had I known about you back then; mostly put up my own poetry and, when I ran short of material, works of poets I enjoyed.
I’ll be delving into your earlier posts. Meanwhile, thanks for sharing your insights and poetry.
Steve, as you may know I came back from my vacation, then went
away for a while. I’m now back, but expect to be irregular for a while.
I just today learned how to find comments made to my blog and approve
them, which is why this response took so long. I hope you’ve found a few other entries at Poeticks that you liked. Good to know that someone like you whom I don’t know has dropped by and thought enough of my blog to send me a comment.
Keep in touch.
all best, Bob
